Up for sale is a 12" F8 ACF Meade LX850 (Zero image shift when focusing). I brought the Telescope new and have only used it a hand full of times. It has been gathering dust in my study for a about 4 years, it is in excellent condition with only a few scuff marks. It has Tempest Fans plus small internal fan to break up tube currents.
This telescope is aimed at someone who likes to tinker with Optics, "not a beginner". If you look at the image you will see a small cusp of light at the edge of the two bright stars, I don't know what is causing this, it could be Collimation, Reflection, Optics, I really don't why, hence why it is aimed at an advanced amateur, visually I could not see the cusp of light. Because of that abberation I'm selling it off cheap. They are worth $6875 at Sideral Trading, no low ballers this price is firm.
