I can't see why not - to the Operating System, a disk is a disk is a disk.
Use one of many disk cloning tools and you should be OK. (Sorry, not a Windows user, so can't really help with naming any of them.)
Back when I was a support technician we used a product called 'Ghost' (by Norton? Symantec?) that would take care of everything. No doubt that's been replaced by something else.
