12th July.. Very cloudy and cold in Central Vic today. I waited a few hours for a small patch of blue sky to appear - and managed to get one reasonable image showing the large sunspot group AR3055 in the center of the sun. I measured AR 3055 at about 150,000 km end to end. Single exposure with Canon 550d taken at 4.50 UTC at 540 nm wavelength. The second image shows the cloud that I was dealing with. Thanks for viewing.
