I suppose I should put this elsewhere but given the expert beginners here and the expert experts that drop in to help out here seemed good..

OK first what file format should I capture my images? Fits, whatever?

Having settled on the file format what program to get so as to inspect the images for culling purposes before stacking.

And the simplest way to dither without PHD...or any auto guide.

These questions relate to the RASA 11 and zwo 2600 mono on eq8 mount just in case the gear has a bearing.
