Ring Nebula RCW58

Hi guys

Time on this was cut short due to weather, id like to do much more exposure on this. I guess ill add to it next year. The 1hr subs let me get pretty deep anyway, albeit noisily for the total exposure time available.

Big image here.

RCW58, an E type nebula, is a Wolf Rayet Bubble formed by the ejecta from WR 40, the central star in the image.

Taken on my RCOS 10" RC Scope at f9, SBIG STXL6303E Camera and PME mount at itelescopes Siding Spring Observatory.
Processed with CCDstack, Star Tools and Photoshop. 21 hrs Total exposure time with 3nm Narrowband filters. Ha and OIII, all 60 min subs. RGB stars.

Cheers
Fred
