Got this new. I reckon it was a sample second reject because the anodising was splotchier than a freckled redhead stepchild going through puberty. You can still see a hint of it in the middle.

So I did - hammertone grey.
Still 110% functional. Non-marring brass friction clamp. MUCH better quality than the ADM offerings or the original Losmandy stuff carved out with a dull pocketknife.
Can't remember what I paid - $75 or something silly. Ehy, its astronomy....we can gouge!
