Wedge for Nexstar Evolution and SE

Bought January 2021, and used about once per month since. This is an absolute tank of a wedge, and hasn't shown any age or many signs of use - still works as well as it did brand new (just a bunch of screws and plates). Its spirit bubble doesn't work (never has), but I never bothered to return it as the mount tripod has one anyway.

If you have a nexstar evolution or SE and want to do some long exposure photography, this is actually a pretty good piece of equipment to help you do it without upgrading to a dedicated scope.

If you can get your scope balanced properly, and have good polar alignment (via Celestron's ASPA and then later Drift Align via PHD2), you can get sub-arcsecond guiding with a Nexstar Evolution Mount - especially when pointing to the East. I used this with both a C8 and a Samyang 135 lens, but now I've upgraded to a dedicated mount.

It works well both with Sky Safari/Sky Portal, but I would recommend using it with a laptop and CPWI.

500 dollars posted, 450 pick-up in Brisbane.
