Lioness of Ara

Another brief imaging window opened up over Sydney last night, albeit with
a full moon and drifting high cloud.

To say I am very happy with AP's QUAD reducer, (optimised for the AP155) would be an understatement.
Zero "star bloat" and needle like stars to the edge of frame.

NGC6188 or as I like to call it "The lioness of Ara" nebula (Can you see her? )

This is a 2k version, which cleanly resolves the Class O association stars that light up the nebula (upper middle frame) ...
something I did not expect with this aperture and focal length...
the 9k data makes this even more obvious and looks like a panorama rather that a single frame.

A bit more data to clean up the shadows, plus some SII and OIII should make for a fine end result.
