EAA Observation of super-nova in NGC4647

Clear skies at last.

I was beginning to worry that his super nova would fade before I had a chance to observe it. It is in the spiral galaxy NGC4647 in Virgo, very close to M60. It was first discovered on April 16 2022.

EAA live stack using SharpCap with Vixen ED103S and ASI385. 40 X 15.0 second subs for total exposure of 600s at Gain300. The super nova was clearly visible after the first sub. No post processing. It looks to be about mag12.5.
