It's been 6 or so years since I've set up my telescope, but I got a bonus at work and on a whim I bought a NEQ6 mount to get me back into the hobby. I was several scotches in at this point so probably wasn't thinking clearly as my scope is only a Celestron Astromaster 130EQ. Not sure if the dovetails match. It should arrive by the weekend and I'm keen to try an put it all together. Even if it means I need to upgrade my OTA
