What I am getting from the replies is the advantage is better cable management using a NUC.
You still need a laptop to remote desktop for a screen.
Extra USB ports is the other advantage (is that much of an advantage over a simple hub?).
I can see the advantage of an Eagle which powers dew heaters, other devices and has a powered USB hub.
But again you need a screen. But you save on a few transformers and long cables.
