Definitely worth a try on DSOs, the sensor's size obviously limits it to small targets or cropping in tight on the best parts of larger ones. The Jewel Box is an example of the camera being well suited for it with the 6 inch.

Thanks Martin, I know you are a fan of the 6 inch and if I had been under a darker sky with good seeing, the result would have been better. I really like the size of these scopes, they sit nicely on my HEQ5.
