Led bad for eyes I expect originated with some clickbait fake news headline, never seen it reported citing a study source either. So it the advertising sector profiting off such crap, and people need to look at the research themselves and read the report or article in full, not just the headline and making stuff up from that. Years ago I was on facebook but no longer, when a friend forwarded me a fast growing thread regarding sausages causing cancer it was full of people panicing but i actually read the originating article which cited a WHO report which i then looked at and pointed out to the thread that the study was restricted to a mall set of people with an existing rare disease and they were put on a diet of like 4 sausages for every breakfast over a long term and the finding showed around 5% increase risk of one type of cancer only within their group of people with an existing rare disease, the control were otherwise healthy normal people and they showed NO increase risk of any cancer and when you look at the numbers it equates to one extra person developing cancer amoung a group of people with a rare disease with a population larger than has ever existed having this disease, so realistically it means you and nobody you know will get cancer from sausages because you just dont anyone with this rare disease. So its a non story. The original study report did find the 5% increase within the the trvial bounds and that fine, they nor the WHO attributed any sort of risk for the general public beyond the heart disease risks from eating lots of sausages so often(and cited those papers). The thread just died after I pointed out the truth of what was published.People I guess want to be the center of attention being doomsayers which is easier to do than do anything constructive or beneficial and maybe they expect to get rich being an influencer. I wouldn’t be surprised if this LED thing came from someone testing cheap chinese (ie crap quality) LEDs.

***Just deleted a large post but looked back through the thread an Simon already covered what I was going to post but hes said it better.*****

So I’ll stop here.
