cheers chris! absolutely. i think thats a fair comment for the entire carina complex. you get such good snr anywhere in the region you point the camera and its proximity allows you to resolve astounding details even at modest fl's. truly an amazing region of space from our little vantage point in the universe.
the only way you mitigate the 'so much going on' problem in my mind is either really creative framing, or mosaics. one requires precision, one requires persistence
