SkyWatcher 102 Maksutov plus basic EQ1 mount
Purchased locally in Brisbane about 12months ago. It was a basic telescope purchase ,made with the intention to see if I wanted to get back into visual astronomy after many years of absence. The answer was yes, and this “mini-Mak” has been replaced with a Skywatcher ED refractor and a HEQ5 Goto mount. It does perform well for its size and class, so perhaps someone out there is looking for a decent entry telescope for occasional visual outings? The SkyWatcher site has full details and specifications, so I won’t try listing them here.


It is in excellent condition with no dents or scratches. All parts and instructions are included and it has been repacked into the original box. Being relatively heavy and bulky it is offered to local SE Queensland buyers only. I could meet with the buyer to hand over inside the Brisbane , North Coast, and Gold Coast areas – within reason.


Skywatcher offers this scope and mount package through retailers for $499. Offered for sale at $199.
