As far as I know the ASIAir doesn't support a simple multi camera setup like pc/laptop programs do, especially when it comes to dithering. I know it has been requested multiple times on their forums but nothing yet.
Like NINA, APT allows two (or more) instances to run & syncs dithering between them using either a strict protocol (both cameras take a single image and once the longest is complete it will dither before moving to the next image) or a loose protocol (where if there is enough time between the longest & shortest images to take another shorter exposure it will do that then dither once the longest exposure is done, so you might get 2, 3 or more of the shorter exposure while waiting for the longest one to finish & dither).
