Miker, have not purchased anything at this stage. Next week I will make calls. I was looking at a getting a 10" skywatcher quattro for viewing hence a decent mount. I did look at EQ6-R but I thought a newby like me would be better off with a mount in Alt Az mode. No idea on eyepieces to start off.. Also something to power it up.
