My neighbour joined me on a dash from home (rural town) at 19:30 to try to catch a glimpse - about 19:40, at 11° alt, was pleasantly startled at how easy it was to find in the 10x42 binoculars, just north of two stars that turned out to be Namalsadirah III and IV. Much brighter than expected for the conditions, lurking just about a bank of clouds - which stole the view before I was able to direct the neighbour to see it in the binoculars. Now hoping for clearer view tomorrow evening when it will be mid way between Venus and M55.
