How appropriate to photograph -the dolphin when you reside on the mornington peninsula.

As far as spacing goes I think you need to address tilt first as the top half of the image - the stars are tight and look in focus.

The bottom left are round but slightly bloated and out of focus (only a little bit) and the bottom right is showing some coma. So I would correct that tilt on the bottom right and check it with a new image.

Spacing issues are more elongated radially. You are very close, so there may only be 1 perhaps 2mm in it tops.

Greg.
Thanks for the comments Greg and the tips on tilt and spacing. This has been cropped a bit unfortunately so it is a bit worse than shown

Good effort
Cheers Peter - looks like you have been getting some cracking shots so probably no need for the bulldozer!

Cheers Mike - that ís a good question - a quick search didn't reveal much - but looking rare https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolf%E2%80%93Rayet_nebula

Managed to up the data to 3hrs 30 for O3 and about half an hour more of Ha. which has ironed out the noise a bit more.

also an 18min tarantula (while i was waiting for canis major to rise a bit higher).

last night autofocus went haywire in NINA after working perfectly the past two nights so that is a mystery. however I think i have tracked down the concentric circle issue in the Ha. It appeared in the S2 in the Tarantula so I am thinking it may be those pesky red LEDs on the power converters somehow leaking making their way into the tube ...

1 step forward 1 back
