I'm looking to offload my gear as unfortunately I don't have the time to shoot astro anymore - just due to looking to explore other hobbies as this one has got a bit repetitive.
I have the following gear for sale:
- Celestron AVX Mount - this is an awesome equatorial mount for a noob, it has gotten me some beauitful images and with the Polemaster that comes with it, I've always gotten sub-arc second guiding. Such a great mount and would definitely recommend it for a beginner. With the Polemaster, i'll bundle both for $1400. This was bought from OpticsCentral - with receipts.
- WilliamOptics GT71 + 0.8x field flattener/reducer+ 50mm f/4 Guider + ASI290mm Pro + ZWO Autofocuser - Great kit overall, simple to use and keeps the stars in pin-point sharp with the help of the autofocuser. Looking to bundle the entire kit for $2000 which is a good deal for 4 month old scope - this has seen maybe 10 nights overall. - ****sold****
- Celestron C8 SCT Starlight - I got this with the AVX initially, not knowing how difficult it was to shoot astro with, so I went with a wide field refractor. Looking to sell for $1700! it hasn't seen much use other than some visual stuff. I enjoyed looking at planets using this scope, this would be a great addition to someone who loves videoing planets!
- 1600MM + 8pos EFW + 31mm filters - I am the third owner of this. Looking to sell this for $1500
