Probably the Chinese provided the technology in the first place.
This whole F -35 purchase saga reminds me of the F-111 TSR2 F 4 Phantom
Debacle of the 1960's
Millions of Pounds/Dollars overruns,cancelation,skulduggery in high places and between governments etc
Great Britain came out the looser just as they have come out of in this aircraft
deal.
