I bought an item on eBay before Xmas 2019. It was posted just after New Year 2020 from Bendigo to Canberra. Bushfires wrought havoc nationwide.
And then it disappeared in the system.
Fast forward to today almost 2 years since being posted. There along with some Tak stuff from Fry’s Turkish Delight (
) was the long lost way way overdue item! Still in perfect shape.
2 years somewhere probably behind a shelf at the PO. Long enough for the printed address label to fade to almost unreadable.
Aus Post had reconciled the seller years ago and he refunded me. Now I have to try to track him down and pay him again (eBay doesn’t let you directly communicate after a certain period)
