Hi Peter
The trees are relatively safe but I know exactly what you mean. On a path I walked along frequently for a walk in the bush one day I find about eight feet of dead limb standing perpendicular to the ground, driven in the wet soft ground about 2 feet ...I have never forgotten that and what a terrible way to go if I was going walking at the wrong time...wind! no go outside basically..

The present arrangement will be temporary as the car port somewhere in the middle of my cleared area is the goal.

It wont be long before I can move back in hopefully.

I plan on ringing the guy who cut down all the trees and have him trim the tree the van is under...mainly to get it to bush up but certainly lop anything that looks a possible threat.... plus see if he can lay some blue metal on my track.. I have been surprised how good this new car is clearing stuff as I thought I would be making contact in a few places...blue metal will help there and prevent bogging..a regular thing around here..even that tractor got bogged trying to pull my car out a while back.
