Alex, please be aware of these little boogers and aging.
No word of a lie, here in Canberra there is a well known transgender personality (formerly on the TV) that drives an older MX5. She is shall we say in the older generation, tallish (when wearing heels) and absolutely positively struggles getting in and out of it, especially using her walking stick. She literally drops down into it, legs akimbo out the side. It's painful to watch (and she rudely refuses any offer of help)
I see her very frequently as she goes to the same local IGA as we do. It is awfully inconvenient for her yet she persists with it (and can't drive it well - always screaming it into gear because she thinks you need high revs before engaging it in reverse - ah well, its a good attention getting response anyway).
