When I built my ROR obs on the farm, it began with a colorbond roof with the pattern running lengthwise. It was bloody hot and quickly became too much. So I built a second skin over the top of it by running lengths of metal battens and then fastening more aluminium profile on them running the right way and in between, sheets of insulation. It made a dramatic difference.
