NINA and random dropouts

After getting tired of a problem with APT I moved to NINA. I'm finding NINA quite good and although quite different to APT I'm comfortable with using it for everything.

To ensure I don't get too comfortable, NINA will drop the connection to the mount at random intervals. I did some research and changed the settings for USB power saving but it hasn't made a difference.

It's the usual EQMOD setup (I have changed cables in case) directly from the mount (NEQ6) to the Laptop, with the latest versions of everything. I've checked the Windows log and also tried my luck on the developers Discord channel but it seems that there was little appetite to help out if it wasn't easy. Given it's free software Í can't complain.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

If I go back to APT I still have to fix another issue ... so I would like to have at least one bit of software working as advertised.
