Seeking discounts.
It comes and goes with me and only on expensive items in the past...however...in Lismore went to BCF and I was joking with my friend demonstrating how tight I was..the bungs came in a packet of two and I complained to him that I did not need two and it was a waste of money...so in keeping that humour alive and to embarrass him ...at the counter ...I said that I had been sick and could I have a discount..I got
$10 off a $70 purchase...mmm not bad.
That really set me aback.
So next purchase was in Repco..a old style tyre pressure gauge...only $10..I will get two ...one for my car and one for the bush basher ..so " mate can you do me a discount I have not been well" I got $4 off..
Bunnings couldn't and wouldn't but $14 in my pocket .. Price of the large kabab.... so lunch was free....
