Last Jupiter, really..

Jupiter is so low in the west now at about 7:30pm that I can actually see it through a gap in the trees, even if it's only at 19°

Captured this last night after an amazing and frustrating lunar session (more on that later).

The seeing was brilliant at 6:30pm, but deteriorated by 7:30pm when I captured this Jupiter with the 2x barlow - plus Jupiter was down low in the muck and light pollution over Gosford.

I promise, no more Jupiter this year!
