My problem is, by virtue of time in law and real estate is I am a patient "good" listener and folk certainly do take to me..I told this before but at the pub and this lady who I quiet like actually talked for 20 or 30 minutes with me just saying "really" " then what happened" " I like that" etc and she finally slowed down and said " Alex you know what I really like about you..you are a wonderful conversationalist". She wanted to go halves in my boat and had nice plans but I got delayed up North for quiet a while.
She is ok. But there is another where after the first minute I should have ignored her as she haunts me to this day.
In the pubs in Parramatta they called me father confessor because everyone would tell me their secrets...I must look as if I care..well unfortunately I do and there are those who live for the moment they find someone like me..main reason I dont go out these days is I am sick of hearing everyones secrets and problems.
