The possum was a young ringtail and he? was sitting on the lens front surface. The first pic shows the camera and lens. The front glass element is 88mm in diameter. In the pic of my hand my fingers were only a few mm from the front surface of the lens. The third pic shows where the camera and lens were mounted. Yes I do climb up there in the dark.
