I've run out of time trying to get the shot I really wanted, so on the basis of All Creatures Great and Small, here is a small one. A green reed frog (Litoria fallax). As a comparison with the big cats, at about 200kg each, this one weighs about 5gm in my estimation, or 1/40,000th of the weight.
300D with 100mm macro lens: 1/200 sec @ f13, with flash infill.
