I appreciate your input. You are more than welcome to tweak and upload any of the images.
Unfortunately the slit in the SHG must be aligned with the direction of the scan. Using an EQ mount this means either RA or DEC.
For various reasons I've gravitated to scanning in DEC.
Today's (080921) images were taken at a faster scan - 9 sec
and with different filter combinations. Managed to get some Ha, Na1, Fe, Mg1 and CaK images. I'll post them soon.
I have tried to stack 8 Ha images to see if there was an improvement. No real success so far.
