Ken, your setup continues to impress!
Have you considered giving the middle one a wavelet-sharpen in Registax? I just did and now I can't find my socks. You can see the lines more but man it rocks when you zoom out a bit. There's a 3-D sphere of fusing gas hanging in front of me! It's not for me to upload it here though.
Can the SHG be rotated about its optical axis and work in any orientation? If so one could take a series of images like that, then process like a normal stack. That should deal with the lines quite nicely and going just by the single image above, the results of doing that should be approximately unbelievable, especially when more wavelengths get involved.
