Marc, the exposures are 20s each, and so even with panning to the next panel, there's usually less than a minute between frames. While some parts are so dynamic that there are changes in that time, mostly they are small enough not to matter. But it is incredible how quickly it changes! One challenge is that the seeing can be quite variable, so it's not always apparent if you got a 'good' set before you move on, and you can't wait too long.

Do you use a glass ERF with your quark chromosphere? How long can you image typically in one session before the gear starts heating up?
