Thanks guys, The QHY makes it much easier to get within the backfocus of the AFFR...
a sublime piece of glass...
but not overly generous in its backfocus, hence I've not used it much with previous imaging.
It turns my 16" F8 into a 16" F6 hence a 40 minute session returns very clean data. Also with a 100mm instrument fitting there is simply no sag or tilt.
Star profiles are pristine to they very edge of the IMX455 field... a sensor that takes no prisoners in that regard...so I'm pretty happy with the result
