If you have the time, and especially with your wonderful images, I'd go for one image per night and experiment with each image being on screen for 1-2seconds to see what feels/looks right and what creates a reasonable length video for you. I think 30-60s would be a good target.

and after seeing Marc effort on the eclipse I gave up, still have gig's of data yet to process there. I'll see what I could do
