Thanks Dennis! This seeing change that night was quite unusual. It's typical to get average conditions with some good bits (but also bad bits), but the seeing pretty much dropped off a cliff that night. I'm speculating but the cloud was moving slowly and steadily (possibly good seeing, but poor transparency), and the seeing was above average for a few mins after the clouds moved out the way but then got bad quite quickly... almost as if what was pushing the cloud away moved overhead, and I was "lucky" in the calm lead-up. But I'm no meteorologist
