Jupiter and Saturn with Canon 600D

Imaged Jupiter and Saturn the other night using my Canon 600D under reasonable conditions
Haven’t done any planetary for over 12 months
8” f5 GSO newt
Canon 600D with 5 x Televue Powermate
BYEOS on planetary mode 5x zoom for 1:1 pixel resolution
1000 Avi frame video
Stacked in Autostakkert 3
Processed in Registax 6

2 problems I realised from this session
1/ Didn’t take enough video , should have captured 1500 to 2000 frames and more of them over a 2 or 3 hour period
2/ Focus was out so sharpening was difficult and ended up too grainy or too noisy

Planets were above 65 degrees so placed well for planetary imaging

Not very happy with the results , even for my humble DSLR , but that’s “Lucky Imaging”

Going to image these again before the moon gets up too big in a week or so

Comments welcome
Thanks
