William Optics ZenithStar 80FD (FPL53 Doublet)

Morning all,

I've decided to sell my William Optics 80FD i acquired from a forum member late last year. The scope has been fantastic but i would like to get into imaging at a longer focal length and i can't afford to have both scopes sitting round so I've decided it's time to move it on.

The scope is the TMB designed Zenithstar Doublet. It is 80mm aperture x 555mm focal length F6.9 with FPL-53 Glass.

The unit comes with a dual speed focuser, hard case, all caps, extension tube, red dot finder, mounting shoe along with a set of 80mm rings.

I personally mounted it with a Primaluce rings and Primaluce bar as I had the primaluce gear from my previous scope. But the rings i purchased the unit with are definitely sturdy and will work perfectly you will just need a bar to suit your mount.

Scope is in excellent condition and was fully cleaned when i purchased it. Lens is in good condition (photograph attached). There is a small mark on the black part of the fine focus focuser knob (photo attached) but other than that its in great condition.

I've attached an image I captured with the scope. Scopes done a great job, my processing however needs work!

I am looking at $975 including postage (registered with insurance) within Australia.

Cheers,

Cody
