Thanks, I saw yours and was inspired to have a go. Wasn't sure at mag 14 I'd be able to see a thing, at least not in a suburban location but given I managed a single sub and could still see it (albeit at a very dark location) I'd say it might be possible from a city at the moment if you could get more time on it.
I can't see it from my yard unfortunately, trees in the way but if you could a good 2 hours might be possible before it sinks too low. According to stellarium between about 8 and 10pm looks about the right time in Melbourne.
I can actually see it from my front yard, but from that spot its about the only thing I can see, so polar alignment might be challenging, if the sky clears I may have a go anyway.
