Part of Rho Ophiuchi

Arguably the most colourful part of the Milky Way and a distinctive feature that sets it apart from other galaxies Rho Ophiuchi is a yearly favourite target.

Taken last week during a few nights of clear skies.

HaLRGB image. QHY600 and AP130 GT with Quad TCC F4.5. PME mount at my home observatory in Kurrajong NSW.

A mosaic makes sense but probably with a bigger sensor and smaller APO.
