NGC 6357 Lobster Nebula

Captured NGC 6357 Lobster Nebula for the first time at my South Coast Obs on Monday night as conditions were excellent, little or no wind , no dew , low humidity , good seeing and transparency in Bortle 3/4
My set up just squeezed in the main body of the lobster in the FOV but a wider field would be more interesting

Managed 4 hours ( 3 minute subs ) of good data with the 8” f5 newt and my 2600MC using the L Extreme NB filter, camera cooled to -10C
Guiding in PHD2 was really tight for my low end mount ( EQ6-R pro ) at 0.70 arc sec total error most of the night ( Dec around 0.50 and Ra around 0.65 or thereabouts with a few random tiny spikes in Ra )

Data stacked in DSS
Processed in Startools V1.7 ( OSC Linear data set )

Synthetic Luminance version
Colour version RGB
