My wife only has to provide payslips if the agency finds the work for her. Mostly I think it has to do with proof of ongoing support that Centrelink requires to maintain the funding.
It should not be the case if the person finds their own work unless they are trying to use the agency for support in the new job.
My wife circumstances are different as she receives a DSP, and requires ongoing support but she doesn't like the ned to do it, but it is required. I believe my eldest son will have to do the same as he is on a Newstart with DSP support as well.
