M16 Eagle Nebula from South Coast NSW
Last night on the south coast NSW conditions were excellent, very light wind , no dew , no moon and good seeing
Took the opportunity to image M16 which I’ve only imaged once before and changed my mind at the last minute to use the L Extreme filter even though no moon around and Bortle 3/4 skies ( glad I did )

Optolong OSC NB L Extreme Filter
55 x 3 minute dithered guided subs
Goto and tracking EQMOD and Ascom Stellarium
Framed focused and captured with APT
PHD2 Multistar guiding ( 0.70 to 0.80 arc sec error total )
Subs reviewed in Astap
Stacked in DSS
Processed in Startools V1.7 OSC Linear Data Set ( used Bi Colour Preset )
In hindsight should have captured more data ( another hour or two ) due to the great conditions but tiredness got the better of me ( my Obs is semi automated not fully automated or autonomous)
