In 2013 I built the telescope with an Istar 6" f12 objective which gives very fine views for an achromat. This is my version of a Unitron 6" scope.
Features:
3" linear bearing GSO focuser.
Rigel System electric focuser.
70x900 Skywatcher achro with 2" focuser and diagonal.
Two finder scopes.
Rails and extra sliding counterweights, for perfect balance.
As its a large scope I then built the mount and pier. Solid as a rock.
Mount has twin Byers slip clutches' simple AWR tracking system, 10K encoders and Argo Navis DSC's. For power a 100 amp hour Battery and 240 to 12V convertor included.
Selling as trees have grown to high for any enjoyment on all sides
Price??? For the whole lot shown how about $4K or make an offer.
Really needs an Obs out in the country (which is not possible for me)
