This manual Alt-Az mount is very light and sturdy and served me well the last couple of years for my visual sessions. It easily carried my 8” SCT + heavy diagonal and eyepieces, making for a much more convenient and light replacement for my Dob.

Adjustable tension for both axes means accurate tracking, and the extension rods with big, glove-friendly knobs, make for very accurate tracking.
