The things they do to water bears... these little critters need a #tag support group... A group recently tested to see if they might have survived the moon impact experiment.
Impact speeds:
Researchers found the bears could withstand an impact of up to 900 meters per second and shock pressures of up to 1.14 gigapascals. At higher speeds, the seemingly invincible water bears turned to mush.
The study results show that tardigrades can survive impact speeds of around 2970kph, no airbags required... (They were frozen and fired at a sandbag for testing, then returned to water to check survival rates).
