Just how big is this scope and mount? Do not put your scope or mount in a camper trailer if you can avoid it. Those trailers are usually very heavily sprung and not designed for astro gear. You mention the outback, and that usually means corrugations, keep the astro gear inside the vehicle if you can. A trailer can be ok on good paved roads, if the gear is well packed and padded.
