Peter,
Nice image of a popular target
Well done for effort alone !!!
Gee you poured some time into this one
Have you ever though at some stage in the future of adding a cooled OSC into your set up ( like my 2600MC ) they are developing into really good cameras with high QE and in good skies you only need 2 to 3 hours on most nebula to end up with a pretty good image , in fact any target for that matter. Mono will always rule but I like the idea of imaging 2 targets in one night if conditions are excellent or if conditions are limited at least you can get an image out of your night. Just a thought ?

Your image is the Cats Paw nebula or Gum 64
I’ve noticed a few Southern Hemisphere objects on Stellarium have been labeled incorrectly even though the New General Catalogue ( NGC ) numerals are correct
Another example is NGC 3324 Gabriela Mistral Nebula, Stellarium have labeled it the Keyhole Nebula which is incorrect

Cheers
M
