The 6” newt is a superb scope , a great all rounder and never lets you down
I’d like to see more beginners try 6” newts ( f5 or f6) rather than opt the popular ED80 etc.... I think collimation scares them off a bit plus the fact it’s a physically bigger OTA and balancing can be a little bit more tricky. They also double up as a great visual scope as well
I’ve had my 6” f6 newt for 4years now, she’s a bit banged around but still does a superb job
